For those of you who have been with us since the beginning of Claridge + King, you may recall our Linen Pleat Front Shirt style. One of our very favorite pieces, we’ve brought it back this season in an easy-care cotton fabric that’s cool and crisp.
Rebranding it The Annie Shirt (after our mum Anne), it plays up that dressmaker stitching detail–the pin tuck–with a trio of half-inch-wide pleats that run vertically down the front on each side. Then we’ve strategically placed a series of horizontal pin tuck stitches to secure each pretty pleat in place. Created with a narrow-banded collar, the covered placket conceals a row of elegant, mother-of-pearl buttons beneath. The Annie Shirt is also available in mint.
While our fitted shirts run true to size, we recommend ordering the next size up if you possess a large bust. (Note: If you have worn our larger His is Hers® Original Shirt or tunics, you might need to size up in any of our fitted-style shirts.)
